IronMonth Recovery

On Memorial Day, some friends came over to celebrate the completion of IronMonth. Thanks for the beautiful flowers and well wishes! And thanks to all of you who sent notes, posted to facebook.com/placidathlete, and tweeted encouragement throughout the month!
On Memorial Day, we played. We played badminton, croquet, water balloons, soccer and more. We fired up the grill and drank a few beers.
Since then, I have taken off a few days from triathlon training, except for my bike commute and strength training. I had a massage yesterday to work on my left leg in particular, to try to resolve the issue that was manifesting itself as the knee niggle.
Next week it is back to training, as I have a sprint tri coming up soon on June 20.
